**The 24 hours of padel at New Padel Club** brought 48 players to Chambly for a non-stop format: 24 one-hour rounds, 72 matches on three courts and 1,546 games played. The Méru Team won the 2026 edition unbeaten.

The club in the Oise department turned an amateur tournament into a real collective endurance test. For 24 hours, six teams rotated without interruption, day and night, in an atmosphere that confirms how much French clubs are looking for formats that go beyond standard draws.

## A format that changes the tournament experience

On paper, the idea is simple: keep padel alive for a full day, without a real break, with rotations dense enough to preserve intensity. In practice, this kind of event requires organisation closer to a club happening than a traditional tournament: scheduling, recovery, lighting, night-time atmosphere, food and the ability to keep players engaged until the final slot.

That is precisely what gives the format its value. The 24H Padel is not only about playing level. It creates a shared story between players, guests and the club. For a young venue such as New Padel Club in Chambly, this type of operation also builds an identity: a place able to animate its community beyond ordinary bookings.

## A showcase for club padel

The success also fits a broader context. In France, clubs are increasingly looking for formats that retain players: internal leagues, themed evenings, mixed tournaments and long-duration challenges. Padel is particularly suited to this, because doubles play encourages rotation, social connection and teams built across different levels.

With 48 participants and a full night on court, New Padel Club shows that a local event can create genuine sporting momentum. The achievement is not only to have played for a long time, but to have kept a clear, lively framework that remained engaging until the end.

## Méru Team goes the distance

On the sporting side, the Méru Team took the title after an unbeaten run. Yet the final result mainly underlines the strength of a format in which mental endurance matters as much as technical habits. After several hours of play, clarity on return, management of difficult spells and availability for the team become as important as a winning smash.

The most telling figure may be this one: 1,546 games in 24 hours. It shows an event that goes beyond a simple weekend animation. In Chambly, New Padel Club managed to turn duration into a spectacle and an all-nighter into a community marker.
