A NextGen rendezvous at Golden Point on the Belgian coast
This Thursday, February 26, 2026, the FIP Promises Middelkerke kicks off in Middelkerke (Belgium) and, for the duration of a long weekend, installs the next generation of international padel players at the Golden Point Padel Club. On the schedule: boys’ and girls’ tables, from Under12 to Under18, in a FIP Promises Continental – Europe tournament.
The setting is familiar to Belgian players: an indoor structure (4 match courts, 2 practice courts) and an organization that relies on proximity – right down to the Ostend-Bruges airport, just ten minutes away. Behind-the-scenes news is relayed by the organization on Instagram via the @fip_promises_middelkerke account.
Format: qualifying, main draw and deciding Sunday
FIP announces a day of qualifying on/02/26 (if necessary), before a main draw starting on/02/28. The final draw is calibrated for 32 pairs (26 direct entries, 4 qualifiers, 2 wild cards), with the same logic on the qualifying side.
On paper, the power build-up is clear: Thursday/Friday to launch the matches, Saturday for the key rounds (2nd round and quarterfinals, depending on the category), and a Sunday reserved for the semifinals and finals, with a time indicated at 10am (local time) for the major posters.

Last but not least: the Belgian coast doesn’t stop there, with a FIP Promises Middelkerke II already scheduled for August 20 to 23, 2026.
