## A celebrity tournament from 2:00 to 3:30 pm

**The Alpine Paris Major 2026 runs from September 6 to 13** at Stade Roland-Garros. On Sunday, September 6, the Padel Festival will give Philippe-Chatrier a separate programme before the tournament fully gets under way. From 2:00 to 3:30 pm, a **celebrity tournament** will bring together figures from entertainment and the media. The official visual lists Redouane Bougheraba, Jarry, Cartman and David Hallyday.

This slot sits between “Des Clubs au Chatrier”, scheduled from 12:00 to 1:30 pm, and the tennis vs padel exhibition starting at 4:00 pm. At the same time, the official competition begins on the outside courts with **16 qualifying matches**, eight women’s and eight men’s, from 11:00 am.

## Gasquet, Pouille, Clément and Santoro face Paquito and Sanyo

At 4:00 pm, Chatrier switches format. The **Tennis vs Padel** exhibition brings together Richard Gasquet, Lucas Pouille, Arnaud Clément and Fabrice Santoro on the tennis side. Padel is represented by **Paquito Navarro and Sanyo Gutiérrez**. The slot is scheduled to run until 5:30 pm.

Arnaud Di Pasquale, director of the Alpine Paris Major, summed up the idea in a recent LinkedIn post about the exhibition.

The line-up is not built on names alone. The four French players have extensive experience at the highest level in tennis. Paquito Navarro and Sanyo Gutiérrez bring the specific references of padel, including trajectories after the glass, net play and the use of space on the court.

**The Padel Festival takes place on Sunday, September 6** and tickets start at €10. The programme goes beyond the two exhibitions. Before the celebrity tournament, **Des Clubs au Chatrier** is set to bring together 32 mixed pairs in a knockout draw, including one professional pair, with matches played to two winning points and **€10,000** for the winners. A recent post by the tournament director names Alix Collombon and Dylan Guichard as the professional pair in the challenge.

Spectators will also be able to access playing sessions on some of the stadium courts alongside the activities and qualifying matches.
