## Dates, venue and two spots at Padel In Club

The **FIP World Cup Qualifiers Asia-Africa** will be played in Kuwait from 26 to 30 October and will close the qualification process for the FIP World Cup 2026. National teams from Asia and Africa will compete at **Padel In Club in Kuwait City** for the two remaining places, one in the men’s draw and one in the women’s draw. FIP describes the event as the final stop on the qualification route to Doha.

The European qualifiers began in Madrid on 22 September and run until 26 September. FIP has brought together **27 men’s national teams and 20 women’s teams**, with four places available, two in each draw. Once the European event is over, Kuwait will decide the final two teams in the World Cup line-up.

[FIP has confirmed the dates and stakes of the Asia-Africa qualifier](https://www.padelfip.com/2026/09/fip-world-cup-qualifiers-asia-africa-final-spots-for-doha-at-stake-in-kuwait-from-26-to-30-october/), organised in collaboration with BNK. The international qualification calendar had already taken national teams from the Americas to Toronto and Asunción in August.

## Thirteen teams already qualified in each draw

The men’s draw already has **13 qualified countries**: Argentina, Spain, Portugal, Italy, United Arab Emirates, Brazil, France, Chile, Sweden, Qatar, United States, Mexico and Paraguay. In the women’s event, the 13 teams already assured of a place in Doha are Spain, Argentina, Italy, Portugal, Netherlands, Sweden, France, Brazil, Belgium, Qatar, United States, Paraguay and Chile.

The first ten places in each draw were allocated from the 2024 World Championship results, with the top nine nations from the previous edition and **Qatar qualifying as host nation**. The American qualifiers then added the United States, Mexico and Paraguay in the men’s event, followed by the United States, Paraguay and Chile in the women’s event.

The [official Asia-Africa event page](https://www.padelfip.com/events/fip-world-cup-2026-qualifiers-asia-africa/) currently lists the venue, dates and men’s and women’s categories. As of 22 September, it has not yet published the participating national teams or the detailed competition format.

## Two full days between the qualifiers and Doha

The **FIP World Cup 2026** will be played in Doha from 2 to 7 November with 16 men’s and 16 women’s national teams. FIP has selected the **Khalifa International Tennis & Squash Complex**, which will also host the 2028 edition. The federation has announced **€1.2 million in prize money** for 2026, split equally between the men’s and women’s competitions.

**Argentina will defend the men’s title** won in 2024, while **Spain will defend the women’s title**. Both national teams are among those already directly qualified for Doha.

When [Qatar was announced as host](https://www.padelfip.com/2026/07/fip-world-cup-qatar-confirmed-as-host-of-the-2026-and-2028-editions/), FIP President Luigi Carraro described Doha’s place in international padel.

> *“Doha is one of the global homes of Padel.”*

The calendar leaves only **two full days**, 31 October and 1 November, between the end of the Kuwait qualifiers and the start of the World Cup in Doha. The two teams taking the final spots will therefore qualify less than 72 hours before the final stage begins.
