The 2025 season has ended, but there’s one last match to play… and this time, you’re the referee. The PadelSpain World Padel Awards, the true “Oscars” of our sport, are entering their final phase.
While players are already preparing their return to the courts, voting is open to reward those who thrilled us last year. Beware, the clock is ticking: you have until January 25 to make your voice heard (votes open since December 10).
The winners will be unveiled at a ceremony organized as part of the Hexagon Cup in Madrid, from January 28 to February 1, 2026.
Who deserves the supreme title? Here’s an overview of the main categories and the epic duels ahead.
The Clash of Titans: Best Male Player 2025
This is undoubtedly the most contested category. After a year marked by partner changes and shared dominance, the choice promises to be a difficult one between power, magic, and consistency.
The nominees are:
- Agustín Tapia: the “Mozart of Catamarca” has once again pushed the boundaries of physics.
- Arturo Coello: the king of the rankings, imperial in the air.
- Ale Galán: the man who reinvented himself to stay at the top.
- Fede Chingotto: the “mouse” who proved that giants could be dominated by intelligence.
- Juan Lebrón: the “Lobo,” always as unpredictable and brilliant.
Queens of the Tour: Best Female Player 2025
Among the women, the battle was just as intense. The consistency of the No. 1 pair was tested by hungry rivals. Here, players are nominated individually, even if certain duo dynamics clearly marked the year.
The nominees are:
- Ari Sánchez: game reading, speed… and very high-level consistency.
- Paula Josemaría: intensity, volume, and an ability to turn matches around.
- Bea González: “La Perla,” capable of monumental feats.
- Delfi Brea: elegance and tactics personified.
- Gemma Triay: power and experience at the service of the game.
Equipment: The Brand War
Beyond the players, 2025 was a year rich in technological innovations. Which racket made an impression (and tired arms) on enthusiasts?
Best Racket 2025
The choice will be between absolute best-sellers:
- NOX AT10 Genius 18K (Agustín Tapia): the benchmark for versatility.
- Adidas Metalbone 3.4 (Ale Galán): pure power.
- Babolat Technical Viper (Juan Lebrón): for technical attackers.
- HEAD Speed Motion (Ari Sánchez): maneuverability and speed.
- Wilson Bela Pro V2.5: the legend continues.
Innovation of the Year
Padel also evolves thanks to the surrounding technologies. Among the finalists are ideas that concretely change the daily lives of players and clubs:
- HIT-X (Padelgest): an innovation designed to optimize the experience around the court.
- LOK Jungle Abrebotellas: the clever accessory integrated into the racket.
- Pascal Box Switch: to extend the life of the balls.
- Piranha Padel: for soundproofing courts (a major issue for clubs).
- Padel Galis: an innovation approach focused on “court & infrastructure”.
The Rising Stars and Coaches
A circuit without new talent is a stagnant circuit. Fortunately, 2025 revealed some gems. Among the boys, Aimar Goñi and David Gala are among the youngsters who embody the next wave.
And among the girls, the race for breakthrough status promises to be exciting, with:
- Daiara Valenzuela
- Martina Fassio
- Raquel Eugenio
- Águeda Pérez
- Laia Rodríguez
And let’s not forget the masterminds. Behind the scenes, the coaches pull the strings. Who among Rodri Ovide, Jorge Martínez, or Gaby Reca will win the award for best strategist?
The “Point of the Year”: all about the spectacle
This is the most talked-about category on social media. Those moments where time stands still. You will have to choose between:
- The magic of Juan Lebrón at the Dubai P1.
- The “World Cup” point by Arturo Coello at the FIP World Cup Pairs (Kuwait).
- The “World Cup” point by Agustín Tapia at the FIP World Cup Pairs (Kuwait).
- The brilliant shot by Juan Tello at the Brussels P2.
- The impossible defense by Agustín Tapia during the Reserve Cup.
- Or the show by Paquito Navarro during the Hexagon Cup.
How to vote?
Don’t let others decide for you. To support your favorite player or club (for example, the Rafa Nadal Academy, the Bela Padel Center, the Bali Social Club, the NAC, or Padel G24), the procedure is simple.
Visit the official website of the PadelSpain World Padel Awards before January 25.
Point to note: the vote is not “one shot”: you can come back and vote the next day (daily vote). The dice are cast… it’s your turn to play!
