Budapest brings together several French and Belgian players
Clément Geens and Dylan Guichard, the No. 4 seeds in Budapest, opened with a 6-1 6-0 win over Jules Marie and Romain Sichez. Their Saturday round-of-16 match against Gonzalo Sassano and Noe Navarro Porras is covered in our full FIP Silver Budapest update. Johan Bergeron and Julien Seurin also came through the first round, while Timéo Fonteny is playing with Nacho Moragues. In the women’s draw, Alix Collombon and Ksenia Sharifova are the No. 2 seeds.
The Hungarian men’s draw is led by Tino Libaak and Gonza Alfonso, who already won the FIP Silver Porto Sant’Elpidio together in August. The FIP schedule places the round of 16 and quarter-finals on Saturday, followed by the semi-finals and final on Sunday.
São Paulo offers 150 points to the winners
The FIP Gold São Paulo carries the largest prize purse of the weekend at €50,000 and awards 150 FIP points to the champions. José Jimenez and Alex Arroyo are the men’s No. 1 seeds, ahead of David Gala and Maxi Arce. By Friday, all eight seeded men’s pairs had won their opening matches before a day featuring both the round of 16 and quarter-finals.
Guimarães has Enrique Goenaga and Guillermo Collado at the top of the men’s draw, with Enzo Jensen and Andres Fernandez Lancha seeded second. Nairobi is led by Antonio “Pincho” Fernandez and Mario Del Castillo in the men’s event, with Virginia Riera and Julieta Bidahorria heading the women’s draw. France’s Juliette Sirgant is partnering Kenya’s Safina Madhani.
Bangkok, Alicante and Izmir complete the schedule
Bangkok has Gonzalo Rubio and Alvaro Montiel as the leading men’s pair. Montiel arrives in Thailand with five CUPRA FIP Tour titles in 2026. In Izmir, Emilio Sanchez and Arnau Ayats are among the leading pairs alongside Marco Cassetta and Fabian Oviedo. French player Manuel Vives is partnering Olivier Guy de Chamisso.
Alicante pairs Ale Salazar, a former world No. 1, with Carlota Lamas Rodriguez, aged 14 years and 11 months. The young Spaniard announced the partnership on social media with a line later quoted by the FIP:
A dream come true.
All seven finals are scheduled for Sunday 20 September. The circuit then moves directly to the FIP Platinum Lyon, scheduled from 21 to 27 September.
