July 8, 2026 marks a turning point for French padel. Moja, the new official platform of the French Tennis Federation, replaces Beach Padel JA. This transition concerns all sanctioned tournaments. Clubs, tournament referees and players are directly affected. But why this change ? What does Moja bring that is new ?
What Moja does : tournament approval, registration management, reporting results to the federation
Beach Padel JA was the reference tool for a long time. Clubs and tournament referees used it every day. But the platform was showing its limits. The interface was ageing. Features were missing. The federation decided to move to something more modern.
Moja was born from this ambition. It is a more complete platform, better connected to the FFT ecosystem. One of its main strengths : integration with Ten’Up. Players can now register directly from their personal account. Login details remain the same as on the former platform. All approvals for the 2026 season have been transferred automatically. The transition is designed to be smooth.
Moja covers the entire administrative side of competitions. Clubs declare their tournaments directly on the platform. No more paper forms or complex procedures. Everything is done online.
Players register through Ten’Up, their personal FFT space. They choose their category and partner and pay their entry fee online. The tournament referee follows registrations in real time. They can see who has registered, who has paid and who is on the waiting list.
Online payment is integrated into Moja. Each player pays their own share directly. The tournament referee no longer has to handle cheques or cash. Waiting lists are managed automatically. Replacements are made in a few clicks. Wildcards are allocated from the platform.
Moja handles registrations well but does not allow brackets or pools to be generated. This is where tools such as Moja-compatible Splink come into play to import registrations in one click and generate brackets with the latest official rankings.
At the end of the tournament, the final standings are validated in Moja. Results are sent automatically to the federation. Points are awarded without re-entering data. Official rankings are updated quickly. No more data-entry errors or endless delays.
What Moja does not do : generate brackets and pools, automate the draw, send player call-ups, provide a public live-tracking page
Moja does not cover everything. In its current version, the platform does not generate brackets. Organisers have to turn to other tools. The automated draw is not available. It is impossible to define seeds or a cut directly in Moja.
Moja does not schedule courts and times either. No match scheduling. No call-ups sent to players. No public page for following live results. During a tournament, players and spectators cannot see match progress on the federation platform.
These features have been announced for the 2027 season. Until then, organisers must find complementary solutions. That is the role played by third-party tools such as Splink.
How organisers are adapting : complementary tools compatible with Moja
Faced with Moja’s limitations, tournament referees use sports-management tools. These solutions fill the gaps in the federation platform.
Splink is one of those tools. Its Chrome extension connects directly to Moja. The tournament referee installs the extension in one minute. No additional account and no password to share. The extension uses the existing Moja session.
The process is simple. The tournament referee links the Splink tournament to the corresponding Moja tournament. Registrations are imported in one click. Names, licence numbers and rankings are retrieved automatically. There is no need to re-enter the data.
Splink generates brackets in a few seconds. The draw follows FFT rules. Seeds and the cut are calculated automatically. Courts and times are scheduled. Call-ups are sent to players by email.
During the tournament, scores are entered live. Players follow progress on a public page. At the end of the competition, results are exported to Moja. The approval process is ready in one click.
Moja opens up possibilities that did not exist with Beach Padel JA. Splink is designed to make the most of them. Online registrations without manual entry, waiting-list management, pair weights and the cut, incremental imports. All these automations save valuable time.
The tournament referee no longer has to re-enter anything. Data flows between Moja and Splink. Rankings are always up to date. Seed calculations are automatic. Reliability is maximised.
Practical advice for a first sanctioned tournament on Moja
You are organising your first tournament with Moja. Here are the steps to follow.
Start by declaring your tournament in Moja. Use your usual FFT login details. Enter the requested information : date, venue, categories, price. Validate the approval request.
Let pairs register through Ten’Up. Players log in, choose their category and register. They pay online. You monitor registrations in Moja.
Install the Splink Chrome extension. Log in to Moja. Link your Splink tournament to the Moja tournament. The extension creates the connection between the two platforms.
Import registrations in one click. Splink retrieves all the data. Names, licences, rankings. Nothing has to be entered manually. Check that every pair is present.
Generate the brackets. Splink calculates the seeds and the cut. Schedule matches on the available courts. Send call-ups to the players.
During the tournament, enter scores as matches are played. Players consult the results on the public page.
At the end of the tournament, export the results to Moja. Validate the final standings. The approval process is complete.
A few good practices : check registrations before the draw. Manage wildcards carefully. Anticipate replacements from the waiting list. Do not hesitate to run a test before tournament day.
What changes for players (registrations, rankings)
Players are the first beneficiaries. Online registration is simpler. There is no longer any need to fill in forms or send a cheque. They register and pay from their Ten’Up account.
The waiting list is transparent. Everyone can see their position in real time. Replacements are clear and automated. Players know where they stand.
Online payment is convenient. No cheques to cash or cash to manage. Everything is done in a few clicks.
Rankings change faster. Results are sent automatically to the federation. Points are awarded without delay. Players can see their progress in real time.
During the tournament, results can be followed live. Public pages provided by third-party tools make it possible to follow progress. Times are displayed. Scores are updated in real time. There is no need to wait until the end of the tournament.
Players also gain confidence. Information is centralised and reliable. Rankings are calculated automatically. Data-entry errors disappear. Competition becomes more transparent.
Moja is only the first step. The missing features will arrive in 2027. The platform will become even more complete. French padel is equipping itself with tools that match its growth.
