Jules Decelle and Zacharie Elius are the 2026 Belgian U12 padel champions. The official Padel Belgium roll of honour lists them as U12 Open winners in Boechout, ahead of finalists Lennert Strackx and Robbe Wauters. The published roll of honour does not give the final score.
Belgian U12 padel champions in Boechout
The junior championship was played on 18 and 19 July 2026 at Padelclub Ter Eiken in Boechout. The U12 Open used a specific format. Each set started at 2-2 and Golden Point applied at 40-40. Final-round matches were played over two winning sets, with no match tie-break if a third set was needed.
The title puts Decelle and Elius among Belgium’s junior national winners for 2026. Actu Padel had already listed them in its overview of the 2026 Belgian Padel Championships. Their individual paths now add context to a result achieved while both are still early in their development.
Zacharie Elius already followed by AFPadel
Zacharie Elius had already featured on Actu Padel in June. He was presented as a young player affiliated with Abbaye, trained at Athois Le Padel and included in AFPadel’s dedicated junior training programme. He had also competed at FIP Promises Gent, an early international experience in a competition reserved for young players.
Jules Decelle also has an early reference point on the FIP Promises circuit. In Middelkerke, from 26 February to 1 March 2026, he and Tao Ciccarelli topped their U12 group with two wins. Their run then ended in the semi-finals against Robbe Wauters and Felix Kay Komander.
An academy with more than 100 youngsters in Ath
The national title also draws attention to the training environment available in Ath. Athois Le Padel says its academy now brings together more than 100 children for the 2026-2027 season. The club’s current website lists six indoor courts and three outdoor courts.
For Decelle and Elius, the Boechout trophy is a clear marker in their development. Their next national competitions and international junior events will provide a fuller measure of their progress against pairs from their age group.
