« Antes de Irme » starts on September 3
NOX has scheduled the first episode of « Antes de Irme » for September 3, 2026. The official YouTube premiere page presents a three-part documentary mini-series devoted to Miguel Lamperti and his final season as a professional padel player.
According to the description published by NOX, the first episode is set to follow the Argentine through training, travel and competition. Its main focus is how Lamperti begins to come to terms with the end of his career and how this farewell season takes him back toward his roots.
Only the first release date is public at this stage. NOX already mentions episode 2, but the premiere page does not list dates for the next two chapters. September 3 is therefore the only confirmed release date currently displayed.
The release comes a few days after Lamperti’s final Madrid P1 ended. Beaten in qualifying alongside Octavio Álvarez, he did not reach the Movistar Arena main draw, a sequence covered in our Madrid P1 2026 update.
Miguel Lamperti’s final season told from the inside
The mini-series builds on an announcement made at the start of the year. Lamperti confirmed that 2026 would be his final professional season. In May, the International Padel Federation was already referring to his retirement in the months ahead during a tribute in Argentina. The series is therefore launching while Lamperti is still competing, rather than after his final professional match.
In the official NOX reel used to announce that final season, Lamperti summed up his decision in these words, translated faithfully from Spanish:
They say everything comes to an end. One more year to finish this beautiful story the way it deserves.
The mini-series returns directly to that theme. The first episode is not presented as a simple career recap. NOX describes a more personal look at the daily life of a player who is still training, travelling and competing as his retirement approaches.
« Antes de Irme » premieres on September 3, 2026 on the NOX Padel YouTube channel. Two further episodes have been announced, with no public dates shown on the premiere page at the time of publication.
