Spain’s 2026 padel calendar tightens in August. El Prat hosts a FIP Promises event from August 7 to 9 with 150 pairs entered, before the Spanish Youth Championship in Massanassa from August 24 to 30 and the Comunidad de Madrid P1 from August 29 to September 6.
- August 7 to 9: FIP Promises El Prat de Llobregat.
- August 24 to 30: Spanish Youth Championship in Massanassa.
- August 29 to September 6: Comunidad de Madrid P1.
El Prat starts the run with 150 pairs
The FIP Promises El Prat de Llobregat starts this sequence on Friday, August 7 at Padel Barcelona. The FIP reports 150 pairs for the Spanish stop on the NextGen Tour.
Javier Bolumar Orti and Izan Ranera Pedrero top the Boys U18 seed list. Paula Gil Aguilar and Daniela Valiente Escric lead the Girls U18 draw. In Boys U12, Paul Rolandi Porcel and Tello Buitron Olcin arrive after winning in Paris two weeks earlier.
El Prat is the first marker before a much busier end of the month for Spain’s young players. The tournament ends on Sunday, August 9 with the finals.
The Spanish Youth Championship follows in Massanassa
Two weeks later, the national youth scene gathers at Sportcity Massanassa in the Valencia region. The Spanish Youth Championship, Babolat Trophy, runs from August 24 to 30.
The Spanish Federation reserves the event for the benjamín, alevín, infantil, cadete and junior age groups. Each main draw will feature 32 pairs, with 24 admitted by ranking and eight places coming through qualifying.
The timing adds context. Spain completed a boys’ and girls’ double at the FIP Junior Euro Padel Cup 2026 in Porto. That European result keeps the Spanish generation under close watch before the national championship.
Madrid P1 begins before the youth championship is over
The calendar tightens again from Saturday, August 29. Comunidad de Madrid P1 qualifying starts that day at Club Pro Padel Coslada while the Spanish Youth Championship still has its final day to play on August 30.
The Madrid main draw then runs from September 1 to 6 at Movistar Arena. The event lists 48 pairs in the men’s main draw and 28 in the women’s draw, with total prize money of €479,068.
When the season was officially presented, Premier Padel CEO David Sugden summed up the tour’s ambition in one line.
“The 2026 calendar is a fantastic moment for professional padel.”
For the full sequence, the 2026 Premier Padel calendar gives the main checkpoints. Between El Prat, Massanassa and Madrid, Spain packs three levels of competition into less than a month, from international youth development to the professional tour.
