Arturo Coello’s vlog is not limited to match footage. Over a little more than twenty minutes, the world No. 1 also shows the parts of a Premier Padel week that fans rarely see: meals, travel, training sessions, conversations with his team and a few free hours spent walking around London.

London, Notting Hill, training and the first physical warning signs

The video quickly settles into the rhythm of tournament life. Coello visits Notting Hill, trains with Agustín Tapia and watches a match involving people close to him before starting his own campaign. The next day, his voice has changed. He says he has a sore throat, a cold and does not feel at his best.

The sequence stays low-key. He gets ready, jokes with his entourage and keeps his routine before his opening match. A few hours later, the vlog follows him to On’s flagship store in London, then back to the hotel while he says his head is still hurting.

Facing Curro, a match with a personal edge

The most revealing passage comes after his quarter-final. Coello looks back on facing Francisco “Curro” Cabeza, whom he describes as part of his family. He explains that this closeness makes the match emotionally harder and forces him to focus even more to avoid distractions on court.

Competition soon takes over again. Coello and Tapia go on to reach the final of the first London P1. According to Premier Padel, they beat Alejandro Galán and Federico Chingotto 6-3, 5-7, 7-5 in a match lasting almost two hours. It was their eighth title of the 2026 season.

A final, then packing at 11:30 p.m.

The end of the vlog keeps the same tone. After the win, there is no long filmed celebration. Coello rejoins his team and ends the evening with suitcases still open. It is 11:30 p.m. and the alarm is set for 4 a.m.

Before switching off the camera, the Spaniard sums up what he will remember from Premier Padel’s first week in the British capital:

“A wonderful week. Premier Padel in London was spectacular, one of the best tournaments we have played this year.”

The vlog gives a straightforward view of life on tour: plenty of padel, tightly managed routines and ordinary moments between matches. The London event, held at Olympia from 2 to 9 August 2026, ended with Coello and Tapia on top of the men’s draw.
