Club Med Padel Cup 2026 calendar across Asia-Pacific
Club Med is expanding its padel program across Asia-Pacific. The second edition of the Club Med Padel Cup 2026 covers eight markets: Australia, Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Japan and India. According to information released this week, the event has doubled in scale compared with 2025.
The calendar published by Club Med gives a clear view of the schedule:
- Bangkok: August 2, already played
- Hong Kong: August 22, already played
- Sydney: August 30
- Tokyo: September 6
- Singapore: October 1 to 4
- Taiwan: October 9
- Kuala Lumpur: October 11 to 13
- Mumbai: date still to be confirmed
The mixed doubles winners earn a place at the Grand Slam at Club Med Phuket, scheduled from November 29 to December 3. Rachael Harding, CEO of Club Med East, South Asia and Pacific, linked the expansion to the social nature of the sport in a statement carried by TTG Asia on August 24.
“Padel is more than a sport; it is a joyful way for people to connect, play and create shared memories.”
Phuket, Bali, Bintan and Kani already feature padel
For travellers looking for a Club Med with padel in the region, the group’s pages already highlight Phuket in Thailand, Bali and Bintan in Indonesia, and Kani in the Maldives. Club Med Borneo in Malaysia is expected to join the list when it opens at the end of 2026.
This resort footprint gives the city tournaments a practical next step. Winners move on to destinations where padel is part of the sports offering, with equipment and coached activities available depending on the resort. Club Med is linking player acquisition, amateur events and travel more closely.
Tatler and Pop Padel extend the city strategy
Club Med has another entry point through the Tatler Padel Series 2026, where it is the Official Lifestyle Partner. Tatler expects more than 2,000 participants across eight events in seven cities, from Bali to Dubai, followed by a regional final in November.
In Singapore, the brand is also working with Pop Padel. The Club Med Cup is scheduled there from October 1 to 4, followed by an academy for children aged 6 to 12 on October 17 and a Family Cup announced for the first quarter of 2027. The connection between competition, beginner access and holidays is becoming clearer.
The Babolat partnership completes the program. The brand supports the events and equipment at several resorts. Actu Padel previously covered the collaboration around the co-branded Babolat x Club Med racket.
This Asia-Pacific Padel Cup is separate from the Club Med Padel Tour 2026-2027 rolled out in other markets. Here, the priority is to move players between partner city clubs and Asian resorts, with Phuket as the meeting point at the end of the season.
