Euro Juniors padel 2026: the final day takes place this Saturday, July 4 in Porto, with a France-Spain boys’ final and a France-Belgium girls’ match for fifth place. The schedule is clear: France-Spain in the boys’ final, Spain-Italy in the girls’ final, France-Belgium for fifth place in the girls’ draw, and Belgium-Sweden for fifth place in the boys’ draw. At this FIP Junior Euro Padel Cup, the French boys can chase the European title; the French girls must finish strongly against a Belgian team that has already shown real depth in the Final 8.
The French boys meet Spain for the title
In the boys’ draw, France’s run gained weight in the semi-finals. Trailing after the opening match against Portugal, the French side turned the tie around to win 2-1, with the decisive points delivered by Perrot / Huard De La Marre and then Guy De Chamisso / Robert. That victory sends them into the toughest match of the tournament: a final against Spain, the defending champion and still unbeaten in sets since the start of the Final 8.
La Roja confirmed its status by beating Italy 3-0 in the semi-finals after an already dominant group stage. For France, the challenge goes beyond a podium finish: it is a direct test of its junior generation against the country that still sets the standard in European youth padel.
The French girls face a Belgian team with a point to prove
The girls’ draw tells a different French story. Beaten in a demanding Group B, the French girls recovered in the ranking matches by defeating the Netherlands. They will now play for fifth place against Belgium, who beat Estonia in the other classification semi-final.
This match carries more weight than a simple placement tie. Belgium had suffered in its group, losing 3-0 to Spain and then to Portugal, but found a response when the tournament moved into the fifth-to-eighth-place bracket. For a national team still building its position on the European junior stage, finishing fifth would be a meaningful signal. For France, the target is different: limit the damage after a frustrating group stage and finish ahead of a Belgian side on the rise.
Schedule and other results in Porto
The tournament is being played in Porto from June 27 to July 4, 2026, with both a boys’ and girls’ Final 8. The finals will have a strong Spanish tone. In the girls’ event, Spain will again face Italy, as in the previous edition, after beating Sweden 3-0 in the semi-finals. Italy also defeated Portugal 3-0, with the last match lasting more than two and a half hours.
In the boys’ draw, third place will be decided between Portugal and Italy, while Belgium will face Sweden for fifth. In the girls’ draw, France-Belgium will decide fifth place, while Netherlands-Estonia will settle seventh and eighth. France can still leave Porto with a title and a fifth place; Belgium has two chances to show that its junior padel is starting to carry more weight in European competition.
