Léa Godallier and Daiara Valenzuela won the FIP Silver ESC Padel II in Espoo on Saturday, August 22, beating Sandra Bellver Fructuoso and Alba Gallardo Salvado 6-2 6-0. The top seeds in Finland have now added a fourth shared FIP Silver title since June, after Narbonne, Porto and Alcalá de Guadaíra.
Final result: 6-2 6-0 for Godallier and Valenzuela
Godallier and Valenzuela allowed the No. 5 seeds only two games in the final. The 6-2 6-0 score completed a week in which the French-Argentine pair had already beaten Tordoff–Leinus 6-0 7-5 in the round of 16, Gibson–Fernandez Garcia 6-3 6-4 in the quarter-finals and Molinilla Paniagua–Moriñigo Gomez 6-0 3-6 6-2 in the semi-finals.
The semi-final was their only three-set match in Espoo. Across four matches, Godallier and Valenzuela won 52 games and conceded 22. Bellver and Gallardo reached the final after a 6-4 7-6 victory over Rasmussen and Minetti. The gap on the scoreboard was much wider in the title match.
The indoor tournament at ESC Padel carried €18,000 in prize money. In the draw published by the FIP, Godallier and Valenzuela entered with 2,336 combined points, compared with 1,233 for Bellver and Gallardo. The official allocation awards 80 FIP ranking points to each winner.
A fourth FIP Silver together since June
The Finnish title extends a run that began in Narbonne. The FIP then recorded two more shared wins in Porto and Alcalá de Guadaíra before Espoo. In the ranking published on August 17, Godallier was world No. 53 and Valenzuela No. 58.
After their first title together in Narbonne, Godallier had already highlighted their partnership in a statement reported by the FIP:
Daiara, we could not have started our journey together in a better way. I am very proud of you.
In Espoo, the pair again turned their No. 1 seeding into a title. Godallier and Valenzuela now have four FIP Silver trophies together on the CUPRA FIP Tour since June 2026.
