Le Cercle du Padel has opened in Simiane-Collongue with a clear idea: to offer a club where people come to play, but also to stay. Opened in March 2025, the venue brings together six outdoor courts, a restaurant, a bar and a swimming pool, embracing the format of a true social hub.
Behind the project, Ugo Mayet and Nicolas Gallet promote a family-oriented approach. The club is not only looking to rent out courts; it aims to create a habit, an atmosphere and a community around padel.
Six courts and a broader offer
The courts welcome beginners, experienced players, lessons and tournaments. According to information provided by the club, the six outdoor courts are due to be covered in order to support year-round play.
The “Chez Tonton” restaurant, the bar and the swimming pool give the venue a broader role than that of a traditional sports centre. Birthdays, seminars, private events and post-match moments are becoming part of the business model.
An example of the new generation of clubs
Le Cercle du Padel reflects a growing trend in France: a padel club is no longer just a collection of courts. It is becoming a social space where the experience around the match matters almost as much as the booking itself.
This positioning may make a difference in an increasingly crowded market. As facilities continue to multiply, clubs able to combine court quality, hospitality, food and drink services, and a strong identity will have an advantage in retaining players.
