Three addresses to meet already strong demand
Padel Social Club is expanding in the UK capital. After Earl’s Court and the first courts at The O2, the operator is preparing three new sites: Paddington, The O2 and Kentish Town. The plan represents 17 additional courts, in a city where finding a padel court at peak times is sometimes a matter of anticipation.
To keep things clear, the project can be recapped in three lines:
- Paddington: 4 courts, including 2 indoor and 2 outdoor, scheduled to open in June 2026.
- The O2: 5 courts, including 2 indoor and 3 outdoor, in one of London’s busiest entertainment venues, announced for November 2026.
- Kentish Town: 8 courts, including 5 indoor and 3 outdoor, due to open in November 2026 and billed as North London’s biggest padel club of the future.
This acceleration is underpinned by a £5.5 million investment, with Clark Group, Active Partners, several family offices and media investors backing the project. This momentum is also a response to very real pressure on the supply side: over 30,000 people are said to have already played on Padel Social Club’s London sites, with usage exceeding 95% in high-demand slots.
Stormzy, a cultural signal more than just a capital name
Stormzy’s interest is not just financial. It also tells the story of what padel is becoming in London: a sport that’s quick to understand, very social, but also a cultural marker. However, there is one important nuance: Stormzy is indeed associated with Padel Social Club, but its entry into the capital dates back to 2024. As such, it is not presented as a new entrant to this fund-raising campaign, but as one of the strong faces of the project.
Padel Social Club doesn’t just sell glass, a net and a new carpet. The brand is pushing a club model where people come to play, stay, watch, chat after a tiebreak or contract extension to a training session. This is what social padel is all about: not a different discipline, but a way of thinking of the club as a place to live.
A new signal for the British padel boom
This announcement comes at an exciting time for the UK. The LTA is pushing ahead with a national development strategy, while London will host the London Premier Padel P1 from August 4 to 9, 2026 at Olympia. The market is thus being structured at two speeds: by the top professional level and by the multiplication of clubs accessible to the general public.
We’ve already mentioned the explosion of new court projects in the UK. Padel Social Club is part of this trend, but with a difference: its future addresses are targeted directly at the heart of London. Where many operators are still looking for the right model, PSC has taken on a premium, urban, community-based formula.
To remember:
- Padel Social Club is preparing three London sites in Paddington, The O2 and Kentish Town.
- The project adds 17 new lanes to its network in the British capital.
- Stormzy remains one of the club’s emblematic investors, having taken a stake in 2024.
- Raising £5.5m confirms investors’ appetite for London padel.
