The RPP – MARCA Junior Cup Sub16 by Wilson is aiming to move up a level in 2026. For its fourth edition, the junior circuit run by the Registro Profesional de Padel is announcing more than 30,000 euros in prizes, a structured Spanish calendar and a first stop outside Spain, scheduled for Miami in November.
The opening event is planned in Malaga on July 15 and 16 at the José Solano Padel Academy. Registration is announced until July 13 at 2 p.m. through the ICI Sports tournament platform. The information still calls for a careful reading: the official RPP page available online confirms the existence of the circuit, but some details of the 2026 edition remain lightly documented in public.
A Spanish calendar to give under-16 players rhythm
The idea is clear: to give under-16 boys and girls an identified competitive framework, with stops that allow them to face different profiles, different schools and different playing habits. In an age group where gaps can appear very quickly, repeated match experience matters almost as much as the raw result.
The announced calendar is set to include Malaga, Alicante, Valencia, Murcia, Gran Canaria, Barcelona and Madrid, before a Master Final at the Bela Padel Center in Barcelona, alongside the Premier Padel Finals. That geography is not neutral: it links already active Spanish padel hubs and gives the circuit more continuity than a single isolated tournament.
For the RPP, the issue goes beyond visibility. The circuit is presented as a space for development, competition and exposure, with material rewards for finalists and winners, a welcome pack for participants and an invitation to the RPP – MARCA Training Experience by Wilson Padel for the Master winners.
Miami as a first international test
The announced Miami stop is the real step up. In a padel landscape trying to structure its youth pathways beyond its historic strongholds, a US date gives the circuit a different reach. It does not transform global development on its own, but it points in one direction: junior padel is also becoming an expansion field.
This move fits into a broader context. The Registro Profesional de Padel presents itself as a subsidiary of the International Coaches Institute, with an international training activity already in place. For an under-16 circuit, that dimension can become an argument if it turns into concrete pathways: better support, broader visibility and denser competitive standards.
The prize pool of more than 30,000 euros brings a promise. The next question is whether the circuit can turn that promise into lasting progress for young players. In junior padel, real value is not measured only in prizes distributed, but in the quality of matches, coaching and the calendar offered.
