The World Padel League says Season 4 will be broadcast in more than 200 countries from August 12 to 16, 2026 at the DOME, SVP Stadium in Mumbai. The network combines television and streaming, with DAZN among the international partners.
Where to watch the World Padel League in 2026
In India, matches will be available on JioHotstar and Star Sports 3. Internationally, the WPL is using different partners for specific markets. Sri Lanka Telecom through PEO TV will cover Sri Lanka, Action Sports Nepal, Tapmad Bangladesh, Dubai Media the Middle East and North Africa, while SPORT TV will retain exclusive rights in Portugal.
DAZN adds coverage across several territories in Europe, Central Asia, Asia-Pacific, South America and Central America. The announcement does not list every European country covered by DAZN. Triller TV/AfricaXP and AfricaXP are also expected to extend distribution in Southeast Asia and Sub-Saharan Africa.
The figure of more than 200 countries therefore comes from several broadcast zones rather than one single worldwide broadcaster. Exact availability will depend on the territory and the local partner.
From more than 150 to more than 200 countries in one year
The increase is clear compared with Season 3. In August 2025, the World Padel League announced coverage in more than 150 countries. The 200-country mark represents at least fifty additional markets in the league’s stated distribution footprint.
In an interview with Manifest ahead of Season 3, World Padel League co-founder Hemali Sharma had already outlined the broadcast strategy:
“Our global broadcast footprint is expanding across key regions.”
Season 4 takes that approach further. Wider distribution gives more visibility to the franchises, commercial partners and players competing across the five-day event. The August 11 announcement did not disclose projected audience figures or the value of the media rights.
36 players and six franchises in Mumbai
The tournament will feature 36 international players across six franchises. Confirmed names include Paula Josemaría, Bea González, Marta Ortega, Sanyo Gutiérrez and Jon Sanz. Practical information and team rosters are also available on the official World Padel League website.
The WPL is trying to give a five-day event in Mumbai a much broader international presence. Audience figures published after the tournament would provide the clearest measure of the real effect of this expanded distribution.
