Six French players in the men’s qualifying draw
The tournament opens this Wednesday at Padel Barcelona – El Prat with the first men’s qualifying matches. The official order of play starts at 7:30 p.m.. Six French players are involved.
Houssain Robin and Slevin Pasanau play on court 8 against Ferran Cid Arasa and Marc Juste Aixalà. On court 2, Jérémie Euphrasie and Cuba’s Lazaro Reniero Galindo Garcia then face the all-French pair Nathan Perrot and Raphaël Rubio, seeded No. 5 in qualifying.
Later on court 5, Maxime Chedorge and Argentina’s Maximiliano Sepulveda meet Marc Monturiol Cordoba and Hector Pino. Four places are available for the 32-pair men’s main draw. Updates are available on the official FIP event page.
Spaniard Nil Pérez Martínez, also entered in qualifying, posted a preparation clip on Instagram with partner Pelayo Riestra de la Riva.

Godallier and Hugounenq in the main draws
In the men’s event, Arthur Hugounenq is directly in the main draw with Jose Manuel Ortiz Llerena. They are seeded No. 7.
The women’s draw features four French players. Léa Godallier and Daiara Valenzuela are the No. 1 seeds, while Louise Bahurel and Ana Varo Ramos are seeded No. 5. Fiona Ligi partners Fitia Robinson Andrianafetra and Iloe Marie Joe Wallart teams up with Gabriele Strolyte.
The event is played on outdoor courts with outside play allowed. The FIP lists Padel Indoor Hospitalet as a support venue in case of rain. The winners receive 40 FIP ranking points.
In total, eleven French players appear in the published draws. The main draw starts Friday, August 14, followed by quarterfinals and semifinals on Saturday and finals on Sunday, August 16. Prize money is €8,500.
