Padel All Stars in Mumbai: date, time and venue
PadelPark India announced on August 22 that Arturo Coello and Agustín Tapia will come to Mumbai for Padel All Stars. The event is set for Saturday, August 29, 2026 at the Dome SVP Stadium inside the NSCI complex in Worli. The organiser expects more than 4,000 spectators for the exhibition night. District ticketing lists a 4:00 p.m. local start.
The programme will also give Indian players court time. PadelPark India has announced two international professionals, Alfonso Sánchez and Antón Sanz, alongside players coming through the national Padel All Stars qualifiers. The idea is to combine a high-level exhibition with a showcase for the local scene.
Jigar Doshi, co-founder of PadelPark India, presents the event as a step in the sport’s development in the country.
This is not just an exhibition match, it’s a signal that India has arrived on the global padel map.
Coello and Tapia arrive in India as world No. 1s
Arturo Coello and Agustín Tapia are joint world No. 1s in the FIP ranking dated August 17, with 21,051 points each. Their 2026 Premier Padel record is identical: 57 wins, 6 losses and 8 titles. Their Mumbai appearance is being billed as their first visit to India.
Padel All Stars is not part of the Premier Padel calendar and will award neither FIP points nor an official Premier Padel title. It is an exhibition event. For local fans, the main attraction is the chance to watch the two ranking leaders without travelling to a European, Middle Eastern or Latin American tour stop.
One month before the Asian Games
The timing adds another layer to the event. Padel has been confirmed as a medal sport at the 2026 Asian Games in Aichi-Nagoya, Japan. The padel competition is scheduled for September 28 to October 3, one month after the Mumbai exhibition.
That institutional recognition comes as private operators expand their activity in India. In its release, PadelPark India says the country now has more than 100,000 active players. That figure comes from the organiser. Its official website already presents activity spanning clubs, court construction, an academy and a national tour.
Coello and Tapia’s visit therefore fits into a wider visibility push. August 29 will offer an early measure through the actual attendance at the Dome, the court time given to Indian players and the interest generated by the local qualifiers.
