Rubio and Ruiz lead the field, with 17 nations overall
The FIP Silver Porto Sant’Elpidio has 150 entries across the men’s and women’s draws. During the tournament presentation, Marco Marziali, tournament director and head of ASD Ok Sport, said the players represented 17 countries. The event, now in its sixth edition, is part of the 2026 CUPRA FIP Tour.
Marziali summed up the figure at the press conference:
We will have an edition with 150 athletes representing 17 nations.
The men’s entry list published by the FIP on 7 August places Gonzalo Rubio and Victor Ruiz first among the registered pairs. It includes players from Spain, Italy, France, Belgium, the Netherlands, Portugal, Sweden and Argentina, among other countries. The document confirms the broad European representation, joined by players from South America.
Rubio arrives with a new partnership for this tournament. A few days earlier, he announced on Instagram the end of his team with Andrés Fernández Lancha, a split already covered by Actu Padel. In Porto Sant’Elpidio, the FIP entry list pairs him with Victor Ruiz and places the duo at the top of the men’s list.
